Hi

I am due to get my house replastered/skimmed soon, I understand that wallpaper had to come off.

I've removed some stubborn wallpaper and left with some stubborn bits stuck to the wall that doesn't seem to want to scrape off.

I've used a scraper and sprayed to moisten , havent wallpaper steamer though.

Is this likely to get the rest off, is it vital to get the last bits off before plastering?

The couple of photos shows what it looks like

Thanks
Mark

It might be old glue size. Try a sample spot with boiling/very hot water and scrubbing at it. The old glue dissolves in hot, but not cold, water.

As you're going to replaster it probably won't matter, you can use a wire brush that will get it off and roughen the surface.
