Removing thermostatic shower valve

Hi All

My shower valve is causing me issues with the the cold leaking into the hot supply, have removed the plate , does anyone know how these valves are removed? I can't see the make anywhere ...

A pic is attached, any help appreciated

Next stage I'd imagine is to get a knife to help prise those black caps off and a screwdriver to remove the knobs.

Might not help much, but at least it'll give you room to see what's what

Ok taken the knobs off, pic below, anyone know how to get the plastic thermostatic thingy off?
