Any suggestions how to remove this 20 year old UK roller blind without vandalising it ? All the Aussi Youtube clips on the subject aren't doing it for me. Thanks.
Normally push sideways, away from the cord end to compress the spindle at the other end (in the picture push to your right) then pull the cord end out.
Because it's a thing of beauty, Foxhole ! And maybe I can use the same brackets - cleaned up - to put up a replacement roller-blind. There was a v small pin/peg/lever at the non-chain end which released the roller when removed. Thanks for sparing your time for me, Footprints and Foxhole. It's much appreciated.
