Hi guys, I have 2 water butt's that I inherited with a house I bought.

I really am unlikely to use them, but I don't really know what I'd need to go about disconnecting them to get rid of them...

Theres 2 linked together, be grateful if anyone knows there's still a piece of downpipe behind the waterbutts so I assume this is what was taken off originally

Thanks!

Disconnect the pipe from the down spout and put a rubber bung in the hole then drain the butts down and remove them or even advertise them for sale locally I'm sure someone would appreciate them.

If you advertise them on a local community webpage such as Freecycle or Facebook, an enthusiastic gardener will dismantle and collect them.

Thanks managed to figure it out, wasn't as complex as I thought it could be

I just need to find a bit to replace the diverter, I don't suppose you'd know which bit exactly I'd need or if they are a set size, again I'm sure it's not complicated
