All right chaps - I've been tasked with removing 2 square wooden gate posts (about 9" or 10" square). They've been concreted in. What's the easiest way to get em out ya think? I'm thinking of chain drilling at a downwards angle all along where it meets the concrete until it's weak enough so I can shift it, then concrete over the hole.
What's the chosen method employed by people that do this sort of thing often?

dig a hole along side the post then pull the post into the hole. dont cut the post. then break the concrete from around the post.
