renault kangoo van door won't lock

Hi my renault kangoo vans drivers side door wont lock. The key wont lock it, the central locking wont, and the lock knob wont push down.
I've took the plastic cover off the door to have a look, the thing that the knob pushes down has no play in it, this plastic casing also has the wires from the central locking going to it.
Any ideas how to free up this lock?

You could try spraying everything is sight with WD40, it may free it up.

lol, just looking through google for this and diynot comes up, mines done exactly the same id be greatfull if you told me how you did it!


ive had the door almost all apart too

and yes wd40 the lot too
