Renault Laguna Noisy Electric Front Windows

Hi, any idea why the electric front windows on my 04 Laguna seem to be noisy. Took the panel off, tried grease on guides but made no difference. I could not work out where the noise was coming from. Thanks. Ian

Take door card off again, find biggest screwdriver you have, use it like a stethoscope, handle to ear and screwdriver tip to various locations, while operating window up and down.

May be better if you got someone to operate switch while you listened.
