I have an 18 month old van which should be under a three year warranty,. It had problems starting three weeks ago and went into the garage. They said it was air in the fuel and send me away with it while the ordered a part. It got progressively worse. Now they say the fuel injectors are gone and possibly the fuel pump. The dealer wants me to sign a waiver! In case it is fuel contamination before they will work on it.
I have definitely not put petrol in the diesel engine ( have fuel receipts). I am wary of the dealer as I feel he is trying to get out of the warranty. Any suggestions? What could be causing it? How to handle it?
