I'm having an extension rendered, it comprises brickwork to the existing bit and blockwork on the new part.
I intend having silicone, ECOREND SR15 as opposed to Monocouche.
Whilst it's more expensive for the tub of ready mixed SR15 than the monocouche, the job appears to work out less expensive as the tub does approximately 10m2 where as the 25KG monocouche at 10mm thick just does 1.7m2. For 90m2 I'm told I only need 9 - 10 tubs but for the monocouche about 55 bags of 25KG.
Do you know if there is some additional cost involved as it appears to be less labour intensive to me but comments on type of render say it's more expensive?
Also any general comments on preferred manufacturers (eg ECORend, KRend and Weber).

Specialist renders need an experienced plasterer. My son just had a nice\\\£ job finishing a bungalow for some guys who he knew. They weren't experienced in it. Now my neighbour is having his bungalow rendered old school, but this sodding hot weather !
