Render onto tile backer

I’ve got a project where I need to render it , I’ve currently covered it in tile backer board as it gives a really nice flat finish and I got it for free lol
Anyway if I’m using a one Pocatello render can I skim this the same thickness as multi finish or would I still need the 10mm thickness as normal render?

My advice would be contact the manufactures of the render, I’m sure you could but they are the ones that know for sure, they will have most likely done testing and might recommend some sort of bonding agent before the render.

Thanks slawit will do… usually I use blue grit which if you haven’t used it’s fab stuff!
