My builder has installed a new drip bead over a window as part of re rendering the rear of the house.
My issue is that he has filled the under side of the bead so much that rain water doesn't actually "drip" off the bead, instead it runs over it and onto the window frame which in turn sits on the seals at the top of the transom windows, and runs down the glass leaving dirt tracks.
He says this is fine and I say it isn't.
Building control won't comment officially as they don't see it as a "regulatory" issue.
Is there a definitive guide to drip beads ??!!
Thanks
