I invited a company round to quote that I found on the Trustmark website.
They came and inspected and ran a hammer over the walls and told me that the underlying render was mostly sound and would only require patch repair in one or two places. After inspecting the top coat he said he thought it had been improperly applied with no evidence of an SBR or a primer They therefore recommended a product called Andura.
Having googled I can't find any positive things about this product, is it any good?
Secondly he quoted £4,700 to strip off the old top coat, repair as necessary, apply an SBR to stabilise the walls, prime and spray. I asked for an itemised written quote so I could see exactly what this covered. Is this price ok?
