Hi,
I recently had the render on the front of my mid-terrace house removed and external (EPS) insulation installed.
There was a problem with the window reveal for the window on the ground floor. At the top of the window there is a gap between the existing wall and the EPS boards. As a result the renderer couldn't apply the render to anything.
Here are some photos
The renderer suggested that I get a pvc trim, but I think this will look unsightly.
I am currently thinking of filling the gap with expanding foam to make a surface to which I can then apply render. Is this reasonable?
Any suggestions of possible alternatives?
The renderer has since taken his money and gone btw, so I am looking to do this myself.
