Renovation plans for bungalow. Feedback please

Hi,

We are embarking on renovating the upstairs of a bungalow. It's been a hard slog deciding to sell or renovate.

This is the plan for the upstairs but I am concerned the rooms are too small and hoped to get some feedback.

Room 2 is fine but wondered about the other rooms. With eaves to take into consideration I am worried they will be tiny spaces. They will be rooms for young kids so need to get in a single bed and storage space.

I have included the current layout and the proposed.

The stairs are in a rather odd position coming from the left and not in the centre of the house.

I live in a bungalow and have been dragging it into the 21st century for the last 18 months. Property brothers did a loft conversion with storage built into the low headroom eaves. The sizes of the rooms look ok to me but I dont know what the headroom is like. Why not mark it out with string in the garden taking account of the useable space.

That's a good idea but should the height be on the plans? I can go back to get clarity. I can see the eaves are marked out but I'm not clear how far they eat into the room.

Just get your designer to clarify the heights around the rooms.
