Hi All,
I've read some of the threads here but thought I'd post to get some advice specific to my situation:
My garden walls haven't been painted in quite a long time. At least five years I'd say (although I have only been here for one year, but they haven't 'dropped' any paint off). I've attached images of them below.
Although the paint has come off in areas it is not flaking off as such, and doesn't necessarily come off when brushed with a stiff broom.
Therefore my plan was to use a power washer to gently clean the walls and then repoint any gaps with some ready mixed mortar. I was then just going to paint the walls with some masonry paint, Wickes currently have Dulux trade on offer so was going to go for that.
Does this sound like a good plan? Hoping to not have to repaint every year.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Doug
