Looks like you may have an inch or two leaway to put someting on top - i think its called plastic gulley hopper. A square grate with a round pipe sticking down. You may be able cement or grab adhesive it.
Plastic wont take vehicular traffic. Looks like the body of the gulley is ok, and not cracked. If you clean out the top edge, sit the appropriate sized metal grid on it, and make good around the edges with some fine aggregate concrete, it will get you out of troubler for now. Put some strips of cardboard along the edges of the grid, then add the concrete. Cardboard will eventually rot away allowing you to remove the grid when required, and hopefully leaving the concrete in situ.
