I need to patch a concrete step that has been damaged from the New England winter weather and salt. What is the best cement and repair process... or temporary repair advice.
Thanks
i always tile concrete steps with quarry tiles bedded using mortar (5:1 grit sand:cement). For grouting I use same mix but relatively dry to avoid splashing the tiles.
i feel tiles are more durable and look a lot better.
Don't know about over there, but in the UK we can buy a bag of rapid hardening cement based repair compouind with an epoxy addititve which hardens in about 20 minutes.
