I have a small and flimsy shed that houses the pump equipment for my private water supply. It's nearly 10 years old and has spent most of that time without any maintenance.
The main body of the shed is still sound, but ultimately the whole thing needs to be replaced with something more robust. I would just like to get one more winter out of it so that I can work in the summer instead of in the cold weather.
With that in mind, I am wondering how to repair the roof (see pictures below), which has started to show damage this year. Can I treat the gaps with some kind of preservative and nail some material (felt?) over the top?
Any advice welcome! Never tackled anything like this before.
