We have responsibilty for an unadopted lane running alongside our house, which we have to drive along to access our garage.
The lane is made up of compacted hardcore/gravel, and some patches of old tarmac.
Due to the amount of rain this year, the surface of the lane has become loose in some patches and is now starting to turn into potholes due to the car wheels spinning on the loose gravel.

We don't want to get the whole lane resurfaced (mainly due to cost and so as not to encourage skateboarders/kids on bikes!)

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fill the potholes?

thanks

hi mix up a barrow of sand / aggrigate and cement at about 1 cement to 8 of sand / agg to a quite dry mix make sure the pothole is wet , put in plenty, tramp it in add some more and cover with a board for 3 or 4 days then move to the next
