I had my house and outbuildings re-rendered in Cullamix Tyrolean about 12 months ago and initially it looked ok but I've spotted a few hairline cracks appearing recently. I've next to no chance of getting the company/individual back to look at it so wondered if I could get myself a tyrolean gun and just carefully go over the areas of concern or even stipple them with a brush dipped in tyrolean.

The alternative is to paint the whole house which I'm really reluctant to do as I this is why I went for a re-render in the 1st place.

Sometimes you're better leaving things as they are. If you start trying to repair the cracks by adding more tyrolean or stippling them with a brush dipped in the stuff, you will ruin the look of job, and wish you had left it alone in the first place. The cracks are more than likely in the render coat/substrate anyway, so messing about with the tyrolean itself will not do much good. That's my opinion Boxerman, sorry.

Roughcaster.
