I have a Khars hardwood laminate floor which has suffered some damage. It has a scar which is 100mmx5mm and is 3mm deep. Many thanks to the person who can suggest a way by which I can fill in the scar to make it waterproof and unoticeable.

What type of finish (pre-finish) has been used: oil/wax or lacquer/varnish?
Oil/wax can be 'repaired' by applying some wax in the damaged spot to keep the floor protected against dirt and rips, lacquer/varnish needs sanding (and to avoid patched floor the whole area should be sanded I'm afraid) before new finish can be applied
