Reparing dog scratches

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help?

Our pet dog has scratched the back door and i cannot find anything to fill the scratches in with.

Have tried filler but the scratches are shallow and that does not work, also tried once coat gloss.

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried wood filler? - the two part stuff with a catalyst in a tube. Made by Ronseal etc. That usually sticks quite well.

You might need to make the scratches a bit deeper to improve adhesion if it doesn't work first time.
