Nissan Micra newish shape

After fiddling for ages with the headlight, trying to fit a new headlight bulb, I decided to take the headlight out to get the bulb in properly as it kept moving slightly as I tried fitting the wire securing arm thing.

Taking the headlight off, I noticed one of the brackets (for those who know micras, the one low down and under the bumper) had broken off. not sure if it was me.

instead of buying a new headlight from the scrappy, is there any good glue I can use?
the headlight seems pretty secure though moves slighty if you press on it.
will it be ok if I just leave it?

Alas, very common......confusing too as one bolt is right in front of you!
You may be able to repair with a penny washer (bumper off) but frankly I'd leave it be.
The headlamp aim shouldn't be affected, but for some reason these cars suffer from the plastic lens becoming opaque which upsets the MOT if they are bad enough.
John :)

apologies for not getting back to you, been away.
thanks mate .. yes the beam aim hasnt been effected.
I have had a look and agree, I'll just leave it. it is secure enough.i do have the tendancy of messig on rather than just leaving things alone.
yea your right about the lens plastic tarnishing. will see how it goes with the mot. ive seen new headlights advertised at £60 quid each
