Replace an old outside optima xm6 siren box.

Hello. could someone please tell me what the optima xm6 outside box terminal connections would be related to the wires on the inside board terminals.
Is there an equivalent replacement box for this old system?

This kind of depends on the cables you have connected to the bell box.

You should in theory be able to connect a modern bell box.


T = Tamper

A = 0V

D = 12V

B = Bell trigger

Strobe - = Strobe trigger

All you should need for most modern bells.


So the Odyssey X for example would be:-

Bell ---------- Optima
A ---------- D
B ---------- B
C ---------- T
D ---------- A
S ----------Strobe -

I took it he wanted to replace the bell box connected to the Optima XM6 and wanted to know which terminal went to which in the bell box.

So depends on how many cores he has to play with as to what it can be replaced with.
