Hi,
Hoping for some help. I have a Visonic PowerMax Complete and now I need to replace the batteries in two Sirens MCS-710 and MCS-720.
I have the installer code to the system but I am not sure in which order to replace the batteries.
In the MCS-710 instruction it says that I login to the alarm system with Installer Mode, remove the battery from the siren and delete the siren from the alarm system control panel.
In the MCS-720 instruction it says: To remove the siren or replace its battery, without activating the siren, login the alarm system Installer Mode and delete the siren from the alarm system control panel memory before siren removal or siren battery replacement.
So it seems that both sirens needs to be removed from the alarm system when replacing the battery but in different order. The problem is that I don't know which siren is which in the alarm system konfiguration.
Does any one have experience with these sirens? Is it possible to change battery without remove the siren from the alarm system?
Or is it possible to first remove both sirens from the alarm system and then open the sirens to change the battery?
Appreciate if someone could give me some helpful advice.
Cheers
