Replace Broken Video Door Entry System in Flat (current Selti Videophono)

Hi,

A friend has an old video door entry unit in his flat which is all kinds of broken. He'd prefer to replace it with a never model (this one looks very old), and I can't find any newer Selti models.

Is there such a thing as a universal video door entry unit that is compatible? If so, can anyone advise which one to purchase to replace a Selti Videophono? I have attached photos.

The building has about 8 flats if that matters, and it's unlikely he'd get the freeholder to replace all of them with a newer system unless it is an absolute necessity.

Is it possible to dump the video part and just replace the handset so he has audio and can open the door (lives on 4th floor walkup)??

Looked on eBay - nada so far. Will save a search - thanks.

I would try talking to videx about this ..

You could try a Comelit 2603U universal (audio only). Pin 7 on Seti may be linked to pin 3.
