Is it worth replacing a double radiator with a single one with the same dimensions ?
The current double radiator in the spare bedroom is very powerful and makes the room stuffy.
The bedroom will be used by my little girl after winter and I was thinking of replacing it with a single radiator, however couple of people have told me to just keep the double and turn the thermostat valve down to half.
Is this effectively the same has having a single radiator ? or is it more efficient to put a single radiator if this double will never be utilised fully. Any advantages or disadvantages over either ?
Thanks in advance
