replace flat felt roof with partial glazing

Can ssomeone advise me the best way to replace 1/3 of a flat felt roof4m x2.5 m with glass so that it does not leak. This is to let light into a dark lounge.
It is possible to replace the entire roof with glass,but i need part of it to open to alow a lader through
