Replace Honeywell Galaxy G2-20 alarm system

Hello,

I was just after some suggestions, i am looking to replace my old alarm system with a newer panel which can allow management via an app. I am hoping to utilise the already installed PIR sensors and other kit. I have come across texecom, pyronix and also scantronic. Is there any i should avoid for sure?

Any of the above or speak to galaxy guy as you may be able to fit self mon on your panel

There's the option of adding the SelfMon VMOD module to the Galaxy G2 series. This enables the option of remote control via app, or even better if you have VPN, direct back to the panel via browser. See www.SelfMon.uk for details.

You can always change the controls for newer Honeywell Galaxy Flex (same case size), or other vendors. Wired items will be compatible (maybe requiring resistor changes). Any wireless sensors will only be compatible with Honeywell.
