Hi,
I currently have a fairly old Honeywell T40 rotary thermostat that has become rather unreliable.
There are three wires connected that are visible, plus an earth that must be wired behind the wall box. The wiring diagram is here (the numbers are unclear, but read from left to right 2,3, 4, 1):
I was looking for simple replacement, probably a digital one if possible.
I'd seen a Honeywell DT90E, http://www.screwfix.com/p/honeywell-dt90e-digital-room-thermostat-eco/41365#, instructions here, http://www.free-instruction-manuals.com/pdf/p47111762.pdf.
Does anyone know if this would be suitable for a simple in place swap, or does anyone have any recommendations for a better thermostat I should look at?
Many thanks.
