Replace screed with insulation?

Some advice please.

Our 1960s bungalow has a raft foundation with approximately 40mm of screed (no insulation). Is it possible to replace the screed with insulation, and is it likely we would "feel" the benefit? I appreciate it is likely expensive and would not make sense financially.

Additionally, is it likely the screed will have corroded the copper CH pipes which through it?

All thoughts appreciated.

Half my 5.6m kitchen is new with floor insulation and the other half is original 1964 bungalow.

I can't tell the difference. Floor feels the same temperature. I can't see how it does anything tbh.
Yeah if we had a heated floor but we don't.

Re copper pipes.
More likely copper rubbing a hole causing leak as it expands and contracts. That's happening with coppsr pipes in ground coming to some houses on our estate.
Doubt your copper is getting damp
