replace soffits and fascias

Hi Fellas
Could anyone give me some advice on replacing my rotted soffits and facia boards.
Where to start?
Is it a two man job?
Would i need scaffolding set up?

Plan to replace with upvc so any replies would be very helpful,

For safety and simplicity I would say yes and yes - the minimum you would want is two guys and two ladders but a mobile scaffold tower or fixed scaffolding would make the job so much easier, safer and quicker.

Lots easier with two people. Trying to hold up a 3 or 4 m length of upvc fascia on your own is a nightmare.
Careful though, you could be opening up a can of worms. I was asked to replace rotten fascia and soffit years ago. Once tower scaffold was up and fascia was removed, we found quite a few of the rafter feet were rotten too.
