I've purchased replacement cyclinders from Bristan and the instructions suggest that the levers need to be removed but doesn't explain how!
I assume they need to be turned as they have a screw fitting. Except, the limescale, etc. is making this an impossible task at the moment.

I've tried a cloth and pliers but that hasn't shifted it either. Can you please advise.
Thanks in advance.

There will either be a grub screw under the lever or opposite the lever. If the lever has to be removed, try wrapping it in a few turns of insulating tape or duct tape to protect the chrome and then use a pair of grips.

I don't see a grub screw but the duct tape will be much better than my cloth approach as that kept slipping!
Will do that and I am sure it will shift.

Does wd40 have a role here?

Hard to tell from that image, but the actual levers may unscrew to reveal a grub/securing screw. Failing that, send the image to Bristan and thy should be able to help - assuming it’s their tap.

Baby Boa straps are good for that kind of thing.
