Hi
I have a problem with my thermostatic shower. It effects the hot water that gets to all the other hot taps in the house.
The hot bath tap during winter is unusable as it is barely warm.
When I turn off the isolation valves to the shower, the hot bath tap comes out very hot as does the kitchen tap downstairs.
So.....
1. do I need to replace the shower valve
or 2. I have heard that fitting non return valves to the shower pipes may solve the problem. Is that correct? If so, do I fit valves to both the hold and cold feed to the shower?
Fitting non return valves will work out alot cheaper. so I'm hoping this is an option!
Any advice would be appreciated as I'm not sure what to do
Thanks
Mark
