Hello
I have an old boiler which heats radiators and it heats water to be stored in a copper tank. I believe it is about 18/20 years old. It is a very small compact baxi solo 2 30 PF and it is located in a kitchen cupboard - the flue goes straight out the back of the boiler through the kitchen wall.
The house is a small 1 bedroom house and only has 4 radiators.
I have started making enquiries to have the boiler replaced with a combi boiler. Engineer has said the only boiler that can go in the cupboard with the flue coming out the back is a Glow-worm flexicom and a plume kit. I want to use the existing flue hole as I don't want to have another hole made.
Any engineers able to confirm if this is the only boiler I can have or if there is a better small boiler? I do want a boiler with a long warranty.
Also, having a combi boiler downstairs in the kitchen, will this be OK to work with the shower that comes off the bath?
