I have accidentally damaged the speaker on the handset of my flat intercom. I think I just need to replace the speaker on the handset, but can't find any technical specifications regarding the original speakers ohm and voltage. It's quite old and has rubbed off. Could anyone advise me on a suitable replacement or give me general advice on fixing the handset?

Here is a picture of the speaker. It's 2 inches in diameter.

Just out of interest as I don’t have a GDX handset
Videx was 22ohm 0.3w
Fermax was 16ohm 0.25w
Bell systems was 40ohm 0.3w
So you would be looking at 0.25-0.3w for the handset speaker

This was the bell systems one ….looks close on overall size

Thank you very much for your insight. I will source the part and update on my others for future reference. I was going around in circles with this and your replies have made my day.

If you’re struggling ….the speaker in the photo in the bell handset is a scrap unit , you can try it if you pay postage
