Would appreciate advice on this...
My existing DT92E has broken and I need a replacement. I contacted Honeywell/Resideo to ask what my replacement options were and was informed that two wireless room thermostats fitted the bill for my particular setup: a like-for-like DT92E or the newer DT4R. My DT92E had an intermittent fault for years so I'm not inclined to purchase another and would prefer to try the newer version, the DT4R. Checked out the DT4R and found three versions so my question is: what version of the DT4R do I need?
In my setup, the DT92E wirelessly paired with the Honeywell ST9420C wireless enabled programmer, there is no wireless relay box, so I'd like the new DT4R to connect in the same way, i.e. wirelessly direct to the ST9420C. I've seen a DT4R version called a "spare", which is cheaper than versions of the DT4R that come with a relay box(?). The DT4R "spare" reference number is: DTS42WRFST20. Is this the version I need?
Many thanks for your time.
