Hi so it’s been years since I last used mine and now can’t find it although I still have the valve and nozzles, so where do you get replacements (checked Screwfix and toolstation) or have we move on since these ?
Thanks

Thanks that’s for the refill but had a search and they do the bare bottle, but at nearly £50 inc. as they were my local since yhs days I wonder if I still know anyone for trade

I have a few I was going to sell, so looked on Ebay. They seem to sell for about £25. New/2nd hand is irrelevant, obviouisly.

So what are the plumbers/ heating boys using instead of Primus?
Sorry, misread your initial post, thought you were after a refill. Have used the disposable bottles, propane or mapp.

Jewsons sell them and the refills (about£11) but when they exchange bottles they have to be under a certain age (or thats just the guy being funny at our local one)
If you get a bottle your local plumbcentre may also do refills
Somehow i ended up with around 9 bottles couldnt be arsed with ebay and took half a dozen of them local tip so you could also try yours and see if they have any

Well I wasn’t paying for a new bottle so shed emptied and old bottle found, thanks all for the help.
can I ask before I leave what are you all using nowadays as the 2000 are few and far between

Still use 2000 refills, ours is provided by Travis Perkins, so perhaps that’s why we can?

Some use the disposable type, but believe they’re awkward to dispose of now?
