A long long saga which has in part been on these forums, but not worth boring anybody with now. The end result is room was replastered and the old knackered radiator removed and dumped.
Now trying to replace without pipework changes and can only assume I had an old imperial rad which doesnt match metric rads.
So approximate gap between the TRV and other valve is 149 cm
which means too small for a 160 rad and a bit big for a 140 rad.
Is it just a case of 140 rad and a small piece of pipe or is there a better way to solve this?
Thanks
