I wish to replace the shower in my sons bathroom. The current shower is a mixer type, supplied by both hot and cold pumped water from the usual tanks. The supply pipes are external (i.e. exposed on the wall), stainless steel and run down the wall on a 55mm pitch. The replacement shower I would like to use has the pipe connections on about a 135mm pitch.
To make the connection from the stainless steel pipes to the shower I thought about using flexipipes. is this acceptable?
However not the most attractive sight. I have been considering using white plastic pipe which with a few "push on" right angle bends etc to give a neater finish.
Is it possible to use the plastic push on devices in this situation?.
If anyone has other thoughts as to how I could "mate" between the pipes and shower I'd be greatful of advice.
