Hi all,

I'm wanting to change the window opener as pictured. I got company to provide a replacement opener.

As you can see the design/indents are not identical. E.g. the lock mechanism is in a different place and there isn't a nice slot for the hinges to be screwed on in the same place.

Is it possible to fit this opener in properly or not? If so how?

Thanks in advance.

I fitted a universal one as I couldn't find the exact replacement
Seemed to fit ok.
Only thing the was different were the position of the two lug catches on the bottom frame.

It's sometimes a case of making it fit of can't get a match.
I bought mine off internet but took pictures and had chat with sales team. I took the advice and the replacement they recommend.
Was easy enough to fit in the end

Its not possible, the 2 openers are from different makes of window, the first picture showing the opener in situ is Duraflex profile, the replacement opener I can't tell. The hung opener shows the lock to fitted in the 'euro groove' which is on the very edge of the profile, thats just how duraflex design it, the other opener has its euro groove roughly in the middle, every manufactuer or extruder uses a standardised 16mm wide euro groove but they all put the euro groove in a different place like these

Didn't anticipate this issue as the replacement was from the same company that made the original opener
