Hi All,

This is my first post so please bear with me.

I have a composite door and 2 sidelights to install. I have received the door and started taking the plaster to find no lintel above the existing door. Does one need to be put in before I can continue installing the composite door. The brickwork is only a single layer up to the bedroom upstairs. I am not sure if it is load bearing or not.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Michael
