Hi
I’m going to attempt to replace my existing bathtub with a identical one in shape and size, Would it be possible for me to remove the bath and keep the metal brackets in place on the floor and slot the new bath in place and fix accordingly ? Thanks for any help

Not sure why you would want to do this, theoretically is possible (if they are absolutely identical) but in practise getting it all lined up and slotted on….it’s probably a lot me trouble than it’s worth.

What brackets are you referring to?

Those aluminium brackets you refer to, are they the ones that go across the width of the bath, that the threaded bar legs are attached to ? If so, they’re screwed into the bottom of the bath !!
