Replacing a Honeywell Room Stat T6360B with a CMT927

I want to replace my T6360B with a CMT927. The T6360 has only 2 wires connected - Terminal 1 goes to a motorised valve and Terminal 3 goes to the timer controller. I know the CMT927 requires a constant live and neutral to L and N but please can anyone tell me what other connections I need to make. Further information can be supplied if needed.

That's OK, but it's safer to move the wire from the CH On terminal to the L terminal at the timer.

Here's what you do at the stat end:


T6360 -- CM927
3 ------------ L
1 ------------ B

Link L to A

Connect Neutral to N


PS: Your existing stat is incorrectly wired. The two existing wires should be swapped and there should be a neutral connected to terminal 2.

Hi, Thanks very much for that - please can you confirm that I also still connect a Live and Neutral from the boiler supply therefore finally having one Neutral to N - two Lives to the L & L - the link L to A - and finally the switched live currently on Terminal 1 to B !!

You only need one connection to L. This can come from the boiler or the existing timer CH On terminal.

As you said that the CH will be set to24hr on, I assumed that you were supplying the power to the relay from the existing timer.*

If you are supplying the receiver's L and N direct from the boiler, there is no need for a wire from old 3 to L; and you don't need to set the old timer to CH on 24hrs. It would also be safer to disconnect the wire from CH ON and make it safe; set CH to OFF

* Just realised this won't work as there isn't a neutral at the old stat.

You still need to connect L to A and connect old 1 to B.
