I have bought a new socket (with 2 plugs) and I can see it has space for just one earth wire..

Can I go ahead and use it?

Just remove the extra earth wire?

One of the black wires is in a "earth placement" and goes up into the wall and the blue and yellow wire screws into the metal casing.

The red wire is screwed into the place that says Live. (the black wire beside it says "earth)

Well it only has one terminal but space for several wires.

Can I go ahead and use it?
Yes, put both earth wires in the one terminal

No.

It should have green and yellow sleeving like the other one.

The red wire is screwed into the place that says Live. (the black wire beside it says "earth)
And the other 'proper' black wire to Neutral ???

Thanks. The advice I have taken is to put both Earth wires (including the black one which should really be blue and yellow) into the same terminal..

The other two wires ,the second Black one and the Red I will put into the N and L terminals respectively (as they are now)

Thanks once more!
