I have an old LP522 programmer on my central heating system. While it does function well not having the boost button has annoyed me for years and i always get caught out by it by leaving the heating on when I go to bed etc when i don't mean to.

Am I right in thinking the LP522 and the Tempus units are straight swaps using the existing backing plate? From the charts I have seen I think they would be?

i.e. power off, switch modules, power on, programme?

Hi,

Same query - have an old LP522 which I'm thinking of replacing with the Tempus 7. Are they like for like swaps?.

Also, how can I tell if my heating system is a "Fully Pumped" or "Gravity Fedd" hot water system "which does not permit heating to be on without hot water"?. Ny boiler is a Worcester 19/25 CBI.

Thanks for any help.

Riz

The Tempus and Lifestyle programmers use the same backplate and connections, so you just remove the Lifestyle and replace it with the Tempus.

You boiler only works with fully pumped systems.
