Replacing fascias, soffits, guttering

Hello,

I have had 2 quotes for replacing the roofline with upvc on a 3 bed detached house. There is £400 difference in price. The cheaper one says he will be sliding the plastic eaves vent (i think) under the first row of tiles. The more expensive quote says he will remove 2 rows of tiles completely to fit it.
Does anyone know which is the better way of doing it? I'd like the cheaper price but want to know I've had the best work done and it will last especially as its not cheap.

The tiles have to be removed to install eave trays and over fascia vents.

You can't just slide them in to do a proper job.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll be paying the £2100 to get it done properly.
