Replacing honeywell T40(T6360B) thermostat for wireless stat

In what way is it the wrong thing?

You put the receiver somewhere convenient to connect to the boiler wiring, and the transmitter where it makes most sense for you.

What's the problem?

If I can get another cable to the thermostat reciever can I do this so that it is still controlled by the timer :-

N = Netral
L = Perm Live (new cable to patch panel)
A = Timer Live
B = Switched Live

Thanks

At the wiring centre determine which cable goes to the present thermostat.
Either reroute or replace and make connections to the new receiver.

Set present programmer to CH permanently on.
Use new thermostat to set times you want CH on.
(Or vice versa if you want but not the usual way to do it).

N = Netral
L = Perm Live
A = Timer Live (can be link from L if B is 240V which it appears from present wiring)
B = Switched Live

I don't know what I'm missing - must be something as I'm really struggling to understand what the problem is.

First obvious question for me - Is there anything wrong with the wiring for the old stat or it's location? If not, why the hell put a wireless one in?
