Replacing kitchen extractor

Our Lamona extractor needs replacing. Would this be a job for a kitchen fitter or electrian or could a competent DIYer do the job?

Look here for your model, if you can understand how it was installed then you can work out if you can replace it yourself.
 
Depends who you ask.

General handy man will definitely (it's not hard or technical a good one will do it easy.

Some electricians will lots won't

Kitchen fitter will.

If you feel you can't do it yourself get lots of quotes and find someone that feels right and has good references.

Plus if he can do it tomorrow ask yourself why he isn't busy.
