Hi
The plaster on my bedroom wall is ruined by damp from a failed chimney flashing. I'm thinking that strapping and plaster-boarding the wall is maybe a n easier option than just replastering.
It's very tempting too to frame the wall and pack in some 75mm Kingspan insulation and I can afford the loss of space. But that of course means it is no longer a cavity wall.
What's the smart move here?
